Using Social Media to Build Your Business Presence

Okay, I’ll admit it.  Sometimes I struggle for “quality” content to post on my blog that I feel is relevant, so instead of just writing random thoughts, I wait to post until I can either find an interesting article, or come up with a brainstorm of an idea.

I have to say that every day I scan the Facebook pages, and Google sites for quality content that I feel is pertinent to my business as a Virtual Assistant.

I constantly find awesome articles about social media.  Highlighting ways to increase your awareness, ways to set yourself apart from the competition, and just more ways to increase your use and exposure, in the hopes of bringing more clients and customers to your business sites!

That being said, I’d like to share a few of these articles, via links here on my blog post.  The first one, 26 Ways to Use Social Media for Lead Generation, is just one of the many articles I find on Social Media Examiner.  This site is jam packed full of great tips, tricks, resources, articles, etc., on how to maximize your efforts in being more effective at using Social Media sites!  Another great article I found recently called, 6 Ways Social Media Marketing Helps B2B Lead Generation.  I found this article very helpful in that I belong to a Business Networking Group in my community, and I am always looking for ways to share with the members of the group how I can assist them in the Social Media site setup and maintenance, and these articles are a great way to show value in what I can offer to help businesses in our area grow.

Another truly great resource for anything social media is Tech-SavvyAgent.  This has got to be one of my all-time favorite sites for social media, and just anything web related.  These guys have tons of articles, videos, and much more!!  If you are a real estate professional, this is a great resource for all things techy!!  Here’s just one of the great articles that they post regularly, Top Producer Help…Tips to Maximize your CRM.  Again, just one of the many, many great resources.  I follow them on Twitter, and Linked-In as well as have them friended on Facebook!

So, in all the social media sites out there today, which ones do you use on a regular basis?  Do you post updates regularly?  And which of these sites do you feel bring you the most feedback and give you the best return on investment? (investment being your time!)
